The Chris Gaines thing was a huge misstep -- I like Garth Brooks but that just smacked of self-indulgence. But you know what? He didn't give a rat's ass. It's like a piece of performance art (er... performance art that sucks that is... haha). Then again, you never know unless you try. He had the money and the means, so he went for it, and that much I can respect. I have to agree with the critics on this one, kiddo.
